Meet Our CEO – Jeffrey Holland
A 30-year veteran of the hospital industry, Jeff Holland currently serves as CEO of Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center.
Holland joined Bayshore Medical Center in 2006 after serving nearly 10 years as CEO of West Houston Medical Center, which was named first in the HCA Gulf Coast Division for employee satisfaction and consistently ranked in the top 10 among the 200 hospitals operated by Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). In 2008, Holland took over leadership of Bayshore's sister facility, East Houston Regional Medical Center, when the two facilities merged operations.
He has been honored as a fellow for the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a veteran volunteer of community organizations. His involvement includes:
- Board member of the Council on Alcohol and Drugs Houston
- Founding board member of Leadership West Houston
- Board member of HOSPAC - the political action committee of the Texas Hospital Association
- Board of directors of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce
- Past chairman for the Metropolitan Hospital Council of New Orleans
- Board of the MCV/VCU Alumni Association
- Visiting lecturer for the Louisiana State University Medical Center Foundation - Office of Continuing Education
Holland holds a master’s degree in hospital and health administration, and a bachelor's degree in history and political science. He and his wife enjoy their blended family of four grown children and reside in the Houston community.
