Bayshore Volunteers Invest in Healthcare Education Opportunities for Community

PASADENA, TX, —The Bayshore Medical Center Volunteers’ Scholarship Committee presented thirteen San Jacinto college students with $1000 scholarships at their annual Volunteer Scholarship Awards Banquet this past Friday. Eight additional scholarships were also being given to returning students, providing a grand total of $21,000 in scholarships for 2011.

Bayshore Medical Center announced today it is ranked in Houston Business Journal’s (HBJ) 2010 survey of Houston’s Top 50 Best Places to Work. Jeff Holland, CEO, Bayshore Medical Center, accepted the Best Places to Work Award at the Houston Business Journal’s awards ceremony on behalf of the 1,700 dual campus employees at Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center (a campus of Bayshore Medical Center).
